OYOBox: Getting Oprah’s Attention

OYOBox came to us shortly after the company launched. The brother and sister team had secured a test run program with Neiman Marcus, where the luxury eyewear organizer would be carried in three Neiman Marcus locations to see if OYOBox would be a good fit for the luxury retailer. They needed their product launch to generate serious buzz in hopes the awareness would persuade Neiman Marcus to make OYOBox a permanent fixture.
Well, we thought, what about Oprah?
We landed OYOBox a coveted spot in the annual Oprah’s Favorite Things Christmas List, assuring OYOBox would become a household name. Within a week of learning of this coup, Neiman Marcus withdrew OYOBox from the test run program and placed an order for their 42 nationwide stores.
