Years ago, Ms. Raji worked with Tourneau in their sponsorship of the Ferrari Challenge at Road Atlanta. Her responsibility was to manage Tourneau's booth, which featured exclusively Girard Perregaux timepieces. She spoke to many at the event, mostly Ferrari owners, who were not familiar with GP or their partnership (at the time) with Ferrari. On the days following the event, the Atlanta Tourneau received many inquiries and multiple sales of Girard Perregaux timepieces.

 

This simple partnership between the passionate affair men have with both luxury watches and luxury cars created a buying preference. And their interaction with the brand during this Experiential Event resulted in a buying decision.

 

Very often, a brand is first discovered through association with another brand - such as the case in our story, where many of the Ferrari owners knew of Patek Philippe, Rolex and Breitling, but only a few were as familiar with GP. In discovering this partnership with their favored sports car, they were more inclined to take a closer look at GP when time came to add to their timepiece collection.
